2025 $1 Bluey Christmas Coloured Silver Proof Coin – Ballot Results & Update
We’d like to sincerely thank everyone who purchased the carded coins from our online store over the past few days!
We know that excitement for this release has been high, and while the announcement for the silver coins ran a little longer than planned, we truly appreciate everyone’s patience and enthusiasm.
Collector coins make up only a small part of our overall business; however, given that Western Australia has been heavily under-represented in this space (and let’s be honest not many want to be up at 5:30 a.m. for ballots or launches!), we’ve made it a focus to support local collectors by bringing in the full range of Royal Australian Mint (RAM) products.
While we understand some customers were disappointed after missing out, please note that more carded coins will be available next week. We also want to take a moment to emphasise how important it is to support your local authorised dealers whether that’s us or another trusted dealer. The continued availability of popular releases like this one depends on collectors also supporting other, less “headline” RAM releases.
At the moment, we’re at a tipping point where the costs of offering certain limited releases at retail often outweigh the benefit. Supporting reputable dealers (those who don’t scalp or list on eBay) helps ensure these products remain accessible in the long term. Regular customers know we always do our best to look after those who support us.
A Note on the Delay
We also want to apologise for the delay in posting the ballot results. As mentioned, collector coins play a relatively small role in our operations, and the recent movements in the precious-metals market have kept us particularly busy. It’s now 1 a.m. local time, but we wanted to ensure this post went live so that we can ship out all outstanding orders first thing tomorrow…. today!
