Struck from 99.99% pure gold, the coin’s reverse portrays a Trumpet Manucode with its beak open and perched on a tree branch with leaves.Also included in the design is the inscription ‘AUSTRALIAN BIRD OF PARADISE 1OZ 9999 GOLD’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark. The Australian legal tender coin has a limited worldwide mintage of just 5,000.

AUTHENTICATION FEATURE
This coin includes an authentication feature on the reverse in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter. Contained within the coin’s inscription ‘PARADISE’, this letter is only detectable under a magnifying glass. The authentication feature is designed to make it significantly more difficult for the coin to be counterfeited.
