Passed along through the oral traditions of the time, stories of this heroic rebel have been spread far and wide since the fourteenth century.
DESIGN
The reverse of the coin features Robin Hood aiming an arrow with his bow in the foreground. The background depicts a scene of Robin Hood riding through a medieval village on his horse. The inscription “OUTLAW HERO” in an Old English script appears at the top with “ROBIN HOOD” being displayed in the same font at the bottom rim, adorned by a coat of arms above. Smaller inscriptions for the coin’s weight and purity appear around the coat of arms.
The Ian-Rank Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II appears on the obverse with the coin’s 2021-year date and monetary denomination.
The coin has slight reliefing and an antiqued finish.
PRESENTATION
Individual Robin Hood 1oz silver coins are presented in a Swan Bullion protective plastic flip. Multiples of 20 are provided in a tube with 25 tubes to a monster box (500oz total).

I bought this coin the same time that I bought the Poseidon one – also an antiqued silver coin. As a boy, I really liked the story of Robin Hood. I hope there are more characters from the story on the way – Maid Marion, Friar Tuck, Little John, Alan-a-Dale and all the others, even King John! This is a really nice coin.
