2023 Mother & Baby Kangaroo 10oz .9999 Silver Bullion Piedfort Coin
We are excited to release this 10oz silver bullion piedfort coin featuring a mother and baby kangaroo.
Struck by The Perth Mint from 10oz of 99.99% pure silver, the coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965 and has a mintage of 2,500.
DESIGN
The coin portrays an image of a kangaroo and its joey in scrubland. Included in the design are radial lines suggestive of the setting sun, and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
The coin bears The Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Obverse, featuring the Jody Clark effigy supplemented with the dates of Her Majesty’s reign. As well as radial lines, the obverse also includes the coin’s weight, purity, monetary denomination and 2023 year-date.
Each coin’s reverse includes a security feature in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter within the design. It is only detectable under a magnifying glass.
