2025 Christmas Festive Florals Coloured Coin Pack
A number of native Australian plants that flower in December each year have traditionally been seen as heralds of the Christmas season.
One of these is the elegant Queensland Christmas orchid – Calanthe triplicata, which the Royal Australian Mint celebrates with this stunning 2025 50c Coloured Uncirculated Coin, the seventh release in the Royal Australian Mint’s ongoing Christmas coin program.
Radiant and rare, the Queensland Christmas orchid – Calanthe triplicata – unfurls its snowy blossoms to herald the festive season with delicate beauty. Found in the lush, shaded rainforests, this native orchid enchants with its pure white flowers and elegant sprays, a quiet reminder of nature’s enduring grace and the magic of an Australian Christmas.
Struck by Royal Australian Mint from CuNi, these coins are issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965 and have a mintage of 70,000.

The coin’s obverse depicts the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, the monetary denomination and 2025 year-date.
