2026 Aussie Bubs 1oz Silver Proof Coin
The Royal Australian Mint is proud to present this beautiful 2026 $5 1oz Fine Silver Proof Coin as part of its annual baby coin program. This year sees the return of the Mint’s Aussie Bubs – a delightful gang of baby Australian animals, here to celebrate the arrival of a new baby.
The third of the Mint’s precious metal baby coin releases, this coin is struck to the Mint’s world-renowned proof quality. Featured on the reverse is one of the Aussie Bubs – an adorable Tassie devil joey. Reimagined in a new design for this release, the little Tassie devil sniffs inquisitively at a rock lily flower, just one of many delights waiting to be discovered and experienced by curious newborns.
This coin comes in a gorgeous presentation case, which can be customised with the baby’s photo and details and is perfect for displaying at home. With its charming design, limited mintage and 2026 year date, this coin makes a very special gift and keepsake for a baby born in 2026.
Each coin is struck by the Royal Australian Mint from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver and is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965 with a mintage of 15,000.
