2026 Britannia 1/10oz Silver Coin
For more than 1,100 years, The Royal Mint has combined tradition and innovation to create beautiful, secure and trusted coins.
In 2026, Britannia continues to lead the way in defining security in the bullion market. This latest incarnation of the icon combines Philip Nathan’s 1987 interpretation with four pioneering security features to create one of the most visually secure coins in the world.
Philip Nathan’s iteration of Britannia is both bold and beautiful, presented with specifically chosen symbols that represent and reflect the nation – a shield for protection, an olive branch for peace and a trident to represent seafaring.
The 2026 Britannia 1/10oz Silver Bullion Coin is struck by The Royal Mint from 99.9% pure silver and is issued as legal tender.
DESIGN
The reverse side of the coin features an image of Lady Britannia walking at sunrise, with a trident in one hand and an olive branch and shield in the other. Around the outside of the coin are the words ‘Britannia’, followed by the coin’s year of minting. The coin’s weight as well as the purity of 999 fine is also located on the outside of the coin.
The obverse of each coin features the portrait of His Majesty The King, with the coin’s face value located on the bottom right, and ‘Charles III’ located on the bottom left of the coin.
PRESENTATION
Individual 2026 Britannia 1/4oz silver bullion coins are presented in a Swan Bullion stylised plastic slip. Multiples of 16 are packaged into tubes with 20 tubes to a monster box (320 coins / 32oz total).
