2026 Stranger Things Season 3 1oz Coloured Rectangular Silver Coin

Created by the Duffer Brothers, Stranger Things debuted in July 2016 and quickly became one of Netflix’s most popular television series ever. Rooted in 80’s nostalgia, it has sparked a resurgence of pop culture items from the decade with every new season, including Eggo waffles and New Coke. Most recently, the series breathed new life into Kate Bush’s track “Running Up That Hill” with the song soaring in streams on Spotify and entering the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the first time in its 38-year history.

The series has also garnered over 70 awards worldwide including Emmys and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, and has been nominated for over 230 awards. Stranger Things fans everywhere celebrate November 6 – the day Will Byers went missing – as ‘Stranger Things Day,’ a special day to share their love for the world of Stranger Things.

Struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver, the coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu.

The Perth Mint will release no more than 1,500 of the Stranger Things – Season 3 2026 1oz Silver Coloured Rectangular Coin.

DESIGN

The coin’s coloured reverse pays tribute to the iconic Stranger Things Season 3 poster. The design features the main characters – Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Eleven, and the rest of the Hawkins crew – united in a dramatic scene illuminated by bursting fireworks, carnival rides and the glowing sign of the Starcourt Mall. Looming in the foreground is the menacing presence of The Mind Flayer. The design includes the “STRANGER THINGS” logo along with The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.

The coin’s obverse portrays the Jody Clark effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, as well as the weight, purity, monetary denomination, and 2026 year-date.

PRESENTATION

The coin is housed in a black wooden case with red accents. The lid of the case features embossed details, as well as the official Netflix and Stranger Things logos. Packaged in a themed shipper, the release is accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity.

ABOUT THE PERTH MINT

The Perth Mint, located in Perth, Western Australia, is one of the oldest and most prestigious mints in the world, with a rich history that dates back to the late 19th century.
