Coloured Reverse Design
The coin’s reverse portrays an adult border collie and a puppy in colour. The design includes silhouettes of sheep in the background. As well as a decorative pattern of paw prints, the coin’s reverse also includes the inscriptions WORKING DOGS and BORDER COLLIE – SHEEP DOG.

The coin’s obverse depicts the Raphael Maklouf effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the 2011 year-date.
