Do I Need ID To Purchase?
No identification is required for purchases under $5,000. For amounts of $5,000 or above, valid photo identification is required.
Do I Need ID To Sell or Loan?
Yes. As a licensed precious metal dealer in Western Australia, we are required under The Second Hand Dealers Act to obtain valid identification from all customers conducting transactions.
It is important to transact in Western Australia only with registered and licensed precious metal dealers as they have been vetted by the Western Australia Police Force. A registered and licensed dealer will have their licensee details displayed on the outside of their premises.
Your identification documents must demonstrate your full name, current residential address, date of birth, and signature. Primary and secondary identification must equal a minimum of 100 points.

Secondary documentation must be issued within the last 90 days and must include your full name, residential address, and date of issue.
