The Royal Australian Mint proudly presents the first investment release in the kangaroo series, celebrating the iconic Australian animal.

The reverse design celebrates Australia’s iconic kangaroo set against a stylised depiction of the Australian bush. This 2024 $1 1oz silver investment featuring two realistic kangaroos, perfectly captures their natural posture and vitality.

The stylised background includes abstract representations of native trees and textured ground elements. The combination of realism and stylisation creates a balanced composition, highlighting the kangaroos while showcasing the natural beauty of their habitat.

Struck by Royal Australian Mint from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver, the coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965 and has a mintage of 50,000.

DESIGN

The reverse features two realistic kangaroos against a stylised depiction of the Australian bush. Also includes the weight and fineness.

The obverse features the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III as well as the monetary denomination and 2024 year-date.
