Chess Crown Series – The Pawn 1oz Silver Bullion Stackable
The history of chess can be traced back nearly 1,500 years to its earliest known predecessor called chaturanga, a similar but much older game of Indian origin. The current form of the game emerged from Spain and the rest of Southern Europe during the second half of the 15th century.
This Chess Crown series will feature all 6 pieces from the game of chess – the first of the series being the pawn!
Eight of these 1oz silver antiqued stackable chess pieces can be inserted into a specially made capsule to form a crown.
The obverse features an outlined pawn with a Knights Templar shield down the bottom, surrounded by ornate imagery. Various parts of the obverse have higher reliefing.
The reverse features an inverse of the obverse, allowing the individual pieces to stack together.
Has a antiqued finish.
Each pawn 1oz silver stackable is presented inside of a specially designed protective capsule.
An optional extra crown capsule can be purchased that houses 8 of these stackable pawns to form a crown. Please note that these stackable pawns can only fit in the crown capsule when not inside their own individual capsules.
