ICONIC SILVER KANGAROO LEAPS INTO 2019
The Perth Mint’s Australian Bullion Coin Program has been characterised by outstanding craftsmanship, iconic artistry and assured purity for more than 30 years. Continuing this tradition, The Perth Mint is delighted to unveil the Australian Kangaroo 1oz Silver Bullion Coin for 2019.

Struck from 99.99% pure silver, the 2019 Silver Kangaroo’s reverse portrays the classic artistry of a ‘red’ kangaroo encircled by symbolic rays of sunshine.

This bullion coin has an unlimited mintage. Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coin bears the new Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.

AUTHENTICATION FEATURE
This coin includes an authentication feature on the reverse in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter. Contained within the coin’s inscription ‘AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO’, this letter is only detectable under a magnifying glass. The authentication feature is designed to make it significantly more difficult for the coin to be counterfeited, providing peace of mind to our customers.

PRESENTATION
Issued in protective acrylic tubes of 25 coins without individual capsules, each tube is sealed with The Perth Mint’s tamper evident security seal. Orders of 250 coins are presented without capsules in 10 protective acrylic tubes housed in a mini-monster box which is suitable for secure storage in third-party safe deposit boxes. Individual orders will come in a Swan Bullion protective plastic pouch.
