2021 Mother & Baby Platypus 2oz .9999 Silver Bullion Piedfort Coin
We are excited to release this 2oz silver bullion piedfort coin featuring a mother and baby platypus.
Struck by The Perth Mint from 2oz of 99.99% pure silver, the coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965 and has a worldwide mintage of 75,000.
DESIGN
The coin’s reverse depicts a platypus swimming with its baby. The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark and radial lines are also included in the design.
The Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2021 year-date, the weight and purity, and the monetary denomination are shown on the coin’s obverse.
Each coin’s reverse includes a security feature in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter within the design. It is only detectable under a magnifying glass.
PRESENTATION
The Mother & Baby Platypus 2021 2oz Silver Bullion Piedfort Coin is presented without a capsule in protective, convenient tubes of 10 coins. There are 10 tubes to a monster box (200oz total).
