2021 Notre-Dame de Paris 2oz .999 Silver High Relief Antiqued Coin

The 2021 Notre Dame 2 oz Silver High Relief coin has been created by Germania Mint in collaboration with Numiartis. The two companies joined forces to create a unique coin with a motif of the Cathedral Church of Notre-Dame de Paris, which was severely affected by a fire in 2019.

DESIGN

The reverse presents the majestic Notre Dame Cathedral with a close-up on its West Rose Window in an incredible antiqued finish. The bottom of the reverse depicts the vibrant green trees that surround the Notre Dame cathedral with “NOTRE DAME DE PARIS” in prominent gold lettering. “ÆTERNITAS” (ATERNITAS) is displayed in gold lettering across the top of the reverse of the coin.

The obverse depicts the magnificent North Rose Window of Notre Dame – a masterpiece in the art of stained glass windows, and Pieta – the priceless sculpture from cathedral’s altar. The obverse also features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the .999 purity, 2021 year date as well as the monetary denomination.

Each coin is also individually engraved with the serial number of the coin on the rim.

PRESENTATION

Each coin is housed in a protective acrylic display that has a stained glass theme to it. Each coin is accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity that matches the serial number engraved on the coin. This is all housed in a cardboard box.
