2022 Australia Zoo – Sumatran Elephant 1oz .999 Silver Bullion Coin
Swan Bullion and the Royal Australian Mint are proud to present this stunning silver investment coin in partnership with Australia Zoo. In the third release of the Australia Zoo series, this striking coin conveys the elephants’ enormous size and strength. Australia Zoo works closely with conservation organisations in Africa to help protect these important and critically endangered species.
The Australia Zoo Elephant series follows last years release of the Cheetah investment coins and the 2020 release of the Sumatran Tiger investment coins. The Royal Australian Mint has partnered with Australia Zoo to shine a light on these incredible creatures and their fragile existence in the wild.
DESIGN
The reverse features four Sumatran elephants from Australia Zoo – Christina, Megawati, Widya and Raflesia on a grassy plain. The inscriptions “AUSTRALIA ZOO” “SUMATRAN ELEPHANT” as well as the weight and purity are located at the top of the coin.
The obverse features the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monetary denomination and the 2022 year-date.
PRESENTATION
Each coin is presented in a protective capsule. Multiples of 10 are presented in a sealed roll.
