Legendary game franchise
Street Fighter, the legendary video game franchise, revolves around a worldwide martial arts tournament featuring a large cast of playable characters – including Ryu. Serious, quiet and seemingly unemotional, Ryu is an honourable warrior whose simple but necessarily violent fighting style involves a number of specialist attacks, including his trademark ‘vacuum energy fist’ – Shinku Hadoken.
DESIGN
The reverse portrays Ryu with his distinctive headband and sleeveless karate gi as he prepares to launch his ultimate attack. Included in the design is the inscription ‘RYU’.
The Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II appears on the obverse with the coin’s weight, fineness, monetary denomination and 2022 year-date.
PRESENTATION
Each bullion coin is presented in a protective acrylic capsule. These coins come in rolls of 20 and boxes of 100.
