FIRST OF THE SERIES – SEERESS

Presenting the exquisite debut of the latest series by Germania Mint – 2023 Witchcraft: Seeress 2 oz Silver Ultra High Relief coin. This collection embarks on a journey through the mystical world of Germanic sorceress, who possessed the extraordinary abilities to foresee the future, shield against malevolent forces, and wield profound botanical wisdom. The clairvoyant Seeress held a unique position, deeply cherished by both gods and mortals, with even the formidable god Odin seeking her counsel.

DESIGN

The front of the coin depicts the Seeress as she readies herself for her mystical ceremonies, adorning herself in a ceremonial ensemble, complete with a diadem, belt, and a pendant crafted from fragments of deer skulls and antlers. Clutched in her hand is a ceremonial staff, a symbol of her mystical authority. At her side is Ratatosk, the mythical squirrel entrusted with the task of conveying messages among the denizens of the World Tree, Yggdrasil.  The leaves and shrubbery are coloured a natural green colour with a large green stone that goes from the front to the back.

The back side boasts a fresh and distinctive design, while still retaining the iconic double-headed eagle, the hallmark of Germania Mint. At its core, you’ll find depictions of animal skulls and dragons, emblematic of the realm of the deceased. Encompassing these enigmatic symbols are ancient Germanic runes, believed to bestow blessings of fortune, luck, and protection. Also features the weight, fineness, denomination and 2023 year-date.

The runes located on the rim of the back of the coin shines a ferocious red when a UV light is shone on them.

PRESENTATION

Each 2023 Witchcraft Seeress 2oz antiqued ultra high relief silver coin is presented in a protective capsule that is housed in an octagonal wooden display frame which display runes. These are packaged inside of a cardboard shipper with a Witchcraft Seeress themed sleeve. Each coin is accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity.
