2024 Christmas Festive Florals Silver Proof Coin
A number of native Australian plants that flower in December each year have traditionally been seen as heralds of the Christmas season.
One of these is the striking Western Australian Christmas tree – Nuytsia floribunda, which the Royal Australian Mint celebrates with this stunning 2024 50c Coloured Fine Silver Proof Coin.
With its riotous display of golden flowers in the dry outback landscape, the distinctive Western Australian Christmas tree celebrates our uniquely summer Christmas in Australia.
Each coin is struck by the Royal Australian Mint from 18.24g of 99.9% pure silver and is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965 with a mintage of 5,000.
