2024 Maple Leaf 1oz Silver Coin
First issued in 1988, the Royal Canadian Mint’s iconic Silver Maple Leaf is one of the most beautiful and popular bullion coins in the world. Each Maple Leaf is minted with 1 troy oz of .9999 pure silver and bears a $5 face value backed by the Canadian government. Canadian Silver Maples also feature breakthrough security features such as precision radial lines, advanced engraving, and the Royal Canadian Mint’s proprietary BULLION DNA anti-counterfeiting technology.
The radial lines on 2024 Silver Maple Leaf bullion coins are machined precisely to within microns on the master tooling for maximum reproducibility from die to die and coin to coin. The line width and pitch give Silver Maple Leaf coins a characteristic look and create a distinctive, light-diffracting pattern that is specific to this coin.
DESIGN
The reverse features the sugar maple leaf with the coins weight and fineness inscribed around. The reverse also includes precisely machined radial lines as well as a textured maple leaf, micro-engraved with laser technology with the centre featuring the numeral “24” denoting the coin’s year of issue.
The obverse features the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Canadian artist Steven Rosati. The obverse also includes the monetary denomination and 2024 year-date.
PRESENTATION
Individual coins are presented in a Swan Bullion stylised plastic flip. Multiples of 25 are packaged into Maple Leaf tubes with 20 tubes to a monster box (500oz to a monster box).
