2025 Germania 2oz Silver Coin

This year Germania has reached the destination of her journey that began in 2019. For years, she traversed boundless seas and impassable lands, finally discovering a magical realm full of mysteries and extraordinary charm.

Standing deep within an ancient forest, by a river bend, surrounded by monumental stones adorned with runes, she embraces her destiny. In this place, Germania is crowned as the queen of these lands – the Germanic Queen. Accompanying her are two faithful emissaries of Odin – black ravens, guardians of secrets and symbols of wisdom.

Minted from 2oz of 99.99% pure silver, Germania Mint will produce no more than 1,000 of 2025 Germania 2oz silver coins.

DESIGN

The obverse of the coin depicts Germania in a manner reminiscent of her first image in the series, though this time her head is adorned with a royal crown, replacing the laurel of victory she wore for years. The obverse also displays the coins weight, fineness and 2025 year-date.

As in previous years, the perspective of the obverse widens with each successive coin of the series – 1oz, 2oz, 10oz and 1kg.

The reverse of the coin features the Germania Mint coat of arms, with a two-headed eagle holding lightning bolts and surrounded by olive branches. The eagle is derived from Germanic mythology, associated with Janus – the god of all beginnings, guardian of gates and bridges, and patron of alliances. The eagle’s heads, facing in opposite directions, symbolize the past and the future.

Each coin has its unique serial number engraved on the bottom edge of the coin.

PRESENTATION

Each coin is provided in an individual protective capsule. Each coin comes accompanied with a numbered certificate of authenticity (that matches the engraving on the coin) inside of a colour rich booklet depicting Germania’s journey.
