Each bar is meticulously struck by The Perth Mint from 1g of 99.99% pure gold and has a maximum mintage of 5,000.

DESIGN

This carefully crafted pure gold bar features the Bon Scott logo and crest, incorporating a lion rampant holding a microphone with its tongue out. Included in the design is the inscription “BON SCOTT 80 YEARS” along with The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.

The back of the bar is stamped with The Perth Mint’s London Bullion Market Association registered mark, a stylised swan symbolising our 126 year-old reputation for quality, along with the bar’s weight and fineness.

PRESENTATION

The bar is housed in a paper card that allows the bar to pop in and out easily. The card features Bon Scott’s touring tartan and 80th Anniversary logo and is packaged in a paper sleeve which features a photo of Bon Scott in a representation of a polaroid picture, his signature is also included.

ABOUT THE PERTH MINT

The Perth Mint, located in Perth, Western Australia, is one of the oldest and most prestigious mints in the world, with a rich history that dates back to the late 19th century. It was established in 1899 as a branch of Britain's Royal Mint in response to the discovery of rich gold deposits in Western Australia.
