The Royal Celebration 1oz .9999 Gold Minted Bullion Bar
To celebrate and mark the anniversary of His Majesty King Charles III’s accession to the British throne, a new bar joins The Royal Mint’s bullion range.
Struck to bullion standard, each fine gold bar in this range displays an intricate design by Thomas T. Docherty that features the heraldic symbols of the United Kingdom. Expertly produced by The Royal Mint, each bar also features His Majesty The King’s royal cypher.
Struck from 99.99% pure gold, The Royal Mint will produce no more than 5,000 of these 1oz gold minted bullion bars.
DESIGN
The front of the bar features the four heraldic beasts and symbols of the United Kingdom split into quarters by an imperial crown in the middle. Each point also has a depiction of each nations official flower. The beasts include;
England: The Crowned Lion of England, Tudor Rose – beast is top left and the flower is at the top
Scotland: The Unicorn of Scotland, Thistle – beast is top right and the flower is to the right
Ireland: The Irish Elk of Northern Ireland, Shamrock – beast is bottom left and the flower is to the left
Wales: Red Dragon of Wales, Daffodil – beast is bottom right and the flower is at the bottom
The obverse of each bar features the cypher of His Majesty King Charles III. The cypher is the Sovereign’s monogram, consisting of the initials of the monarch’s name, Charles, and title, Rex – Latin for King, alongside a representation of the Crown. The top of the bar features The Royal Mint’s logo and the bottom of the bar displays the weight and fineness.
