2022 $1 Lunar Year of the Tiger 1/2oz .999 Silver Frosted Ingot
The charming and powerful Tiger is the third sign in the Chinese Zodiac. In 2022 we celebrate the Year of the Tiger with this exquisite 2022 $1 1/2oz Silver Ingot. A beautiful and auspicious collectible or gift for Lunar New Year or for those born in the Year of the Tiger.
According to the Chinese Zodiac, the Tiger, which is the third of twelve signs, is the original ‘Charmer’. Blessed with the character traits of strength, bravery and competitiveness, those born under the sign of the Tiger are well liked by others.
On this silver ingot, the Tiger is depicted on a rocky outcrop, surrounded by pine branches, both of which symbolise the Tiger’s strength. The reverse also features the “YEAR OF THE TIGER” inscription as well as the Chinese character for Tiger.
The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II designed by Jody Clark set amongst willow branches. The 2022 year-date and monetary denomination are also featured on the obverse.
