2022 Australian Kookaburra 1/10oz .9999 Gold Bullion Coin
Now in its fourth decade and as popular as ever with investors, the Australian Kookaburra features annual designs of one of our most recognisable birds. Famed for its raucous laughing call, the beady-eyed kookaburra is heard across the nation – from the outback to the back yard.
Each coin’s reverse portrays a kookaburra perched on an ornamental bird bath among Agapanthus, flowering plants regularly seen in Australian gardens. The reverse also incorporates the inscription ‘KOOKABURRA’, The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark, the 2022 year-date and the weight and purity.
The obverse of each coin bears the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination.
Each bullion coin is presented in a protective acrylic capsule.

ABOUT THE PERTH MINT
Established on 20 June 1899, two years before Australia’s Federation in 1901, The Perth Mint was the last of three Australian colonial branches of the United Kingdom ‘s Royal Mint (after the now-defunct Sydney Mint and Melbourne Mint) intended to refine gold from the gold rushes and to mint gold sovereigns and half-sovereigns for the British Empire. Swan Bullion Company is proud to be an authorised distributor for The Perth Mint’s bullion and numismatic products.
