2021 Dragon 1oz Silver Rectangular Coin
The Perth Mint is excited to release this 1oz silver bullion coin featuring a Chinese dragon in a unique rectangular format. In Chinese culture, the dragon is revered as a divine mythical creature, a symbol of power, strength, wealth, and good fortune. Dragons are also believed to be the rulers of water and weather. Each coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver and issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965.
The Perth Mint will release no more than 250,000 of the Dragon 2021 1oz Silver Bullion Rectangular Coin.
DESIGN
The coin’s reverse depicts a stylised Chinese dragon and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
The Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monetary denomination, 2021 year-date and the weight and fineness are depicted on the coin’s obverse.

Purchasing 20 coins ensures that your investment comes in a tube. We offer an optional Perth Mint capsule to protect your investment. There are 10 tubes to a monster box (200oz total).

ABOUT THE PERTH MINT
The Perth Mint, located in Perth, Western Australia, is one of the oldest and most prestigious mints in the world, with a rich history that dates back to the late 19th century. It was established in 1899 as a branch of Britain's Royal Mint in response to the discovery of rich gold deposits in Western Australia. Its primary purpose was to refine gold mined in the region and to mint gold sovereigns and half sovereigns for use throughout the British Empire.
