Introduced in 2018 as a complement to the gold Korean Tiger series, 2020 marks the third release of this ever growing popular series.
The reverse features a tiger cub travelling in Seoul, the capital of Republic of Korea. On top of the Gwanghwamun (the main gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace), our main character, the tiger cub shows a welcoming glare. On the right side, the symbolic Namsan Seoul Tower shines brightly, and the blooming azaleas and forsythias around the tiger cub signals that warm spring is near.
The obverse over the back of the tiger-skin pattern, shows the main habitat of the Korean tiger, the Korean Peninsula, embodied in ‘Hangul’, the Korean alphabet. KOMSCO hallmark is placed on the left and letter changing latent technology (Ag↔999) is featured on the right.
