2022 Germania Beasts – Fenrir 2oz Ultra Double High Relief Silver Coin

Germania Mint presents the second reveal of the mythical bestiary… the Fenrir Ultra Double High Relief 2oz silver coin is another long-awaited coin by collectors in the Germania Beasts series – which will soon be off the chain, wreaking havoc in the numismatic world.

Fenrir – a giant wolf with jaws reaching earth and sky, heralding the fall of the divine world. Raised in Asgard under the tutelage of Odin, and eventually bound by the magical yoke of Gleipnir, Fenrir suffered unimaginable torment. According to prophecy, an earthquake will destroy Gleipnir, and the freed Fenrir will slay Odin in a great battle between gods and giants, giving the beast eternal memory.

DESIGN

The coin is minted in ultra high relief with an antiqued finish. Both sides of the coin have a UV paint that has a pearlescent Chameleon look that shifts from green, through pink to purple depending on the angle observed. The eye of Fenrir glows in the dark. The individual serial number is engraved on the edge of the coin.

The coin glows a fiery orange / red when a UV light is shone at the coin.

The obverse of the coin depicts the head and torso of the mighty mythical wolf Fenrir. Fenrir has his mouth open growling as he his bound by Gleipnir, a magical chain binding. The inscription “FENRIR” is located at the top with the coins weight and fineness off to the side.

The reverse features the torso of Fenrir bound at the feet. Germania Mint’s two-headed eagle coat of arms appears underneath the wolf as well as the inscriptions “GERMANIA 2022” and the 10 Mark denomination.

PRESENTATION

Each 2022 Germania Beasts – Fenrir Ultra Double High Relief 2oz silver coin is presented in a capsule inside of a specially designed acrylic display with an outer box.

Each coin is accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity as well as a free Germania Mint UV flashlight to bring out the coins monstrous beauty.
