2023 Australian Kangaroo 1oz .9999 Silver Proof High Relief Coloured Coin
This 1oz silver coloured coin features the iconic kangaroo in stunning coloured high relief.
Each coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver and issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965.
The Perth Mint will release no more than 5,000 of the Australian Kangaroo 2023 1oz Silver Proof High Relief Coloured Coin.
DESIGN
The coin’s reverse portrays a kangaroo looking over its shoulder. The background and other coloured elements, include representations of a eucalyptus tree and grass trees. As well as the inscription ‘KANGAROO’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, the reverse also incorporates the coin’s weight, purity and 2023 year-date.
The coin bears The Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Obverse, featuring the Jody Clark effigy supplemented with the dates of her reign and the monetary denomination.
The coin’s high relief reverse and obverse are minted on concave surfaces to ensure the optimum flow of metal is achieved by the strike of the die.
PRESENTATION
The coin is housed in a classic display case with a clear lid. Packaged with an illustrated shipper, each coin is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
