2023 Malta Golden Eagle 1oz .9999 Silver Bullion Coin

The eternal battle between good and evil seems to have no end… This is the theme of this bullion coin from Germania Mint. The majestic Golden Eagle struggles against the dangerous and vicious serpent, symbolizing temptation. The clash between Europe’s strongest eagle and the reptile takes place against a background of sea waves. They refer to the Mediterranean Sea, on which Malta is located, as Central Bank Of Malta is the partner of this Germania Mint issue.

Germania Mint will release no more than 100,000 of the 2023 Malta Golden Eagle 1oz silver bullion coin.

DESIGN

The obverse of the coin depicts a fierce battle between a golden eagle and a snake, the golden eagle clutching the snakes body with one of its talons. The inscription “GOLDEN EAGLE” and the 2023 year-date can be seen at the top and bottom rim of the coin.

The reverse of the 5 euro bullion coin features the effigy of Malta, placed on a wreath inspired by a painting on the ceiling of the Grand Master’s Palace in Valletta. The whole effigy is surrounded by olive and palm branches, a symbol of peace. Lily blossoms refer to majesty and glory, while roses are an attribute of purity and harmony. It is also the first coin to bear the Germania Mint’s mint mark. Also features the weight and fineness.

PRESENTATION

Each 2023 Malta Golden Eagle 1oz silver bullion coin is presented in a protective capsule. Multiples of 20 are provided in a sealed roll with 5 rolls to a Germania Mint box.
