2025 50c Koala Uncirculated Coin – CuNi
Adorned with a mother and baby koala nestled together on a tree branch, the endearing design will appeal to entry level collectors and lovers of Australia wildlife. The simple yet striking background of eucalyptus leaves and gum nuts ensures the koalas stand out.
Koalas have mastered the art of sleeping and eating. The yare often spotted contently munching on gum leaves or fast asleep in the fork of a eucalyptus tree. Although plentiful in some areas, koalas are a vulnerable species in New South Wales, with housing developments and farming leading to their population decline.
This stunning 2025 50c Koala uncirculated coin is the second release in the Royal Australian Mint’s Koala series and has a mintage of 15,000.
