2025 SpongeBob SquarePants Patrick Star 1oz Silver Proof Coin
We are excited to present this officially licensed coin celebrating the much-loved television series SpongeBob SquarePants.
In the underwater world of Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob SquarePants is the fry cook at the fast food restaurant The Krusty Krab. Responsible for preparing its popular Krabby Patty, SpongeBob’s life revolves around a wacky ensemble of marine characters – customers, co-workers, friends and rivals – with whom he shares many madcap adventures.
Patrick, a pink starfish, is SpongeBob’s walking paradox and best friend. His usual dim-witted demeanour is unpredictably punctuated by moments of unexpected brilliance, adding an extra layer of hilarity to their shared adventures. The underwater world isn’t complete without Patrick’s charming naivety and SpongeBob’s relentless optimism.
Struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver, the coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu.
The Perth Mint will release no more than 5,000 of the SpongeBob SquarePants – Patrick Star 2025 1oz Silver Proof Coloured Coin.
DESIGN
The coin’s reverse portrays a coloured representation of Patrick Star engaged in the sport of jellyfishing, complemented by jellyfish and various marine species in the background. The locale is identified by a ‘Jellyfish Fields’ signpost. Also incorporated in the design is the official ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ logo.
The coin’s obverse portrays the Jody Clark effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, and the coin’s weight, purity, monetary denomination, and 2025 year-date
PRESENTATION
Accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity, each coin is presented in a SpongeBob SquarePants themed presentation case with a customised Patrick sleeve.

ABOUT THE PERTH MINT
The Perth Mint, located in Perth, Western Australia, is one of the oldest and most prestigious mints in the world, with a rich history that dates back to the late 19th century. It was established in 1899 as a branch of Britain's Royal Mint in response to the discovery of rich gold deposits in Western Australia. Its primary purpose was to refine gold mined in the region and to mint gold sovereigns and half sovereigns for use throughout the British Empire.
