The Aztec sun stone is a late post-classic Mexica sculpture housed in the National Anthropology Museum in Mexico City, and is perhaps the most famous work of Mexica sculpture. It measures 3.6 metres in diameter and 98 centimetres thick, and weighs 24,590 kg.
Each stackable is struck by KOMSCO from 1kg of 99.9% pure silver and has a maximum mintage of 333.
DESIGN
The obverse features an accurate and intricate depiction of the Aztec sun stone. Various parts of the obverse have high reliefing.
The reverse features an inverse of the obverse, allowing the individual pieces to stack together.
Has an antiqued finish.
