Its design is inspired by that of an old US coin; the Buffalo Nickel. Much like the original coin, the round also features reeded edges. The front side of the round features the surprisingly intricate design of a Native American chief gazing off into the distance with the word “Liberty” to his right.
The reverse side of the round is dominated by the image of an American Bison, better known as a Buffalo, standing on all fours atop a plot of earth. Above the buffalo are the words “One Troy Ounce” while beneath him are the inscriptions “.999 Fine Silver.”
