Coin Highlights:
- Contains 1 oz of .999 pure silver.
- Produced by the Highland Mint.
- Features the famous Walking Liberty Design.
- Has no legal tender value as a round.
This 1 oz round features the Walking Liberty replica design on the obverse (lacking a date of production, however), and slight variations on the reverse. Whereas the reverse of an American Silver Eagle says “1 oz. Fine Silver” and “One Dollar,” the reverse of this product has stamps for its .999 silver purity and one troy ounce weight. Another variation will be noticed to the bottom right side of the eagles talons where there is an absence of the JM mark for John Mercanti, the designer of the original image.
Investors appreciate the low premiums over spot for this product, as well as the historical design and attention to detail.
