With the Republic of Chad recognizing Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin as legal tender, it won’t be long before other countries follow suit. The reverse design features the official logo of the “Litecoin” digital currency platform. The background includes a mix of various textures and images of digital circuitry. Each individual coin displays its unique designated number within the narrow rim band. Each unique number is Blockchain verified. “LITECOIN” and “VIRES IN NUMERIS” (Latin for “Strength in Numbers”) are also situated on the coin.

The obverse features the same circuitry pattern as well as the 2020 year-date, “5000 FRANCS CEA” as well as the official coat of arms of Chad.
