2022 America the Free – Statue of Liberty 2oz .9999 Silver Shaped Coin
This engraved, shaped and vibrantly coloured 2oz 999.9 silver legal tender coin is the second coin in a series capturing the essence of America the Free. Overlaid on the Statue of Liberty the American Flag waves patriotically and features iconic US landmarks on the reverse and beautifully engraved excerpts from the poetic 1903 New Colossus bronze plaque which is located on the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty, on the obverse. A truly special collectible.
Struck by PAMP from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver, the coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Central Bank of Solomon Islands.

DESIGN
The reverse depicts the Statue of Liberty with the American Flag draped over flowing down. Amongst the flag features the faces of US Presidents George Washington and Abe Lincoln, Sacagawea who guided Lewis & Clark as well as abolitionists Harriet Tubman and Frederick Douglass. The inscription “America the Free” is displayed prominently at the pedestal with the 2oz weight and purity below.
The Obverse features excerpts from the famous New Colossus by Emma Lazarus located on the plaque on the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty. The Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2022 year-date and the $5 Solomon Islands monetary denomination are also depicted on the coins obverse with each unique serial number appearing at the top of the obverse.
