2023 Lady Germania 10oz Coloured Silver Coin ANA Edition
Presenting a unique version of the 2023 Germania 10oz Silver American Numismatic Association Edition for the 2023 World’s Fair of Money. The coin has been ennobled with yellow gold, ruthenium and palladium, making even more design details visible. The fair edition is issued in a limited number of copies and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and exclusive fair packaging.
DESIGN
The obverse features Germania, clad in armour and a dress moved by the breeze, steps on the mainland with her characteristic volatility and self-confidence. She is the first to explore the unknown lands to which she has brought her faithful people. This year’s issue, however, introduces another innovation – the obverse also changes the image of our heroine, who, traversing the unknown land, eventually plunges her imperial sword Reichsschwert into the ground. Her faithful companion, the double-headed eagle, warns of the danger lurking nearby.
The reverse of Germania 2023 is the traditional image of the Germania Mint coat of arms, with a two-headed eagle holding lightning bolts and surrounded by olive branches. The eagle is derived from Germanic mythology, associated with Janus – the god of all beginnings, guardian of gates and bridges, and patron of alliances. The eagle’s heads, facing in opposite directions, symbolize the past and the future.
Each 10oz coin has an individual serial number that is inscribed onto the edge of the coin that matches the certificate of authenticity.

ABOUT GERMANIA MINT
Germania Mint is a private mint known for producing high-quality collectible coins, rounds, and bars with unique designs. The mint is located in Poland, and although it's named "Germania Mint," it is not actually a state mint of Germany. The name is derived from the historical and mythological concept of Germania, a term used by the Romans to describe the geographical region that is now Germany.
Germania Mint was established in 2018, and it quickly gained recognition in the numismatic community for its attention to detail and innovative designs. One of the key features of the mint is its focus on quality and craftsmanship, often using high-quality metals and special minting techniques to create products that appeal to collectors and investors alike.
Their products often feature symbolic and historical themes, often rooted in European history and mythology. For example, some of their series include representations of allegorical figures, historical events, and mythical stories. These themes, combined with the high quality of their products, have helped Germania Mint build a strong reputation in the numismatic world.
It's important to note that while Germania Mint draws on historical and cultural themes from the region of Germany and broader Europe, it operates independently of any state minting institution and is considered a private entity in the coin-collecting market.
Swan Bullion Company is proud to be an authorised distributor for both Germania Mint's bullion and numismatic products.
