2024 Germania 1kg Silver Coin
Germania, the heroine of the Germania Mint flagship series, continues to explore the mysteries of the mainland in 2024. By now she has managed to become accustomed to the lush vegetation, among which boulders with magical runes swarm. Her every move is followed by two ravens, which are the eyes and ears of Odin, the god of war, wisdom and poetry.
Minted from 99.99% pure silver, Germania Mint will produce no more than 100 of 2024 Germania 1 kilo silver coins.
DESIGN
The obverse features Germania, clad in armour and a dress moved by the breeze, walking through water amongst lush vegetation. She is gripping her sword Reichsschwert with one hand while it is sheathed on her hip while she looks into the distance. Two ravens perched on rocks watch vigilantly over Germania. The obverse also displays the coins weight, fineness and 2024 year-date.
As in previous years, the perspective of the obverse widens with each successive coin of the series – 1oz, 2oz, 10oz and 1kg.
The reverse of Germania 2024 is the traditional image of the Germania Mint coat of arms, with a two-headed eagle holding lightning bolts and surrounded by olive branches. The eagle is derived from Germanic mythology, associated with Janus – the god of all beginnings, guardian of gates and bridges, and patron of alliances. The eagle’s heads, facing in opposite directions, symbolize the past and the future.
Each coin has its unique serial number engraved on the bottom edge of the coin.
PRESENTATION
Each coin is provided in an individual protective capsule that is shipped in a protective cardboard shipper. Every 1kg coin is accompanied by an elegant Germania Mint wooden box and numbered certificate of authenticity (that matches the engraving on the coin) that fits inside of a black sleeve shipper.
