2025 HM King Charles III Silver Proof Six Coin Year Set
When His Majesty King Charles III ascended the throne in September 2022, the Royal Australian Mint began the mammoth undertaking of transitioning the effigy on all Australian legal tender coins to that of the new Monarch.
The 2025 Fine Silver Proof Year Set is a symbolic completion of this herculean task, and a stunning memento of this historic numismatic journey.
Each coin in the set is struck to the Mint’s high-quality proof standard, which perfectly highlights the effigy of His Majesty The King in a stunning frosted finish, providing a stark contrast to the mirror-finished field.
Welsh engraver Daniel Thorne has designed the effigy that perfectly combines centuries of numismatic design tradition with extensive study of the monarch and his accomplishments, creating a portrait that truly reflects His Majesty.
Each coin is struck by Royal Australian Mint from fine proof silver and are issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965 with a maximum mintage of 2,025.

Each of the coin’s reverse features the iconic designs of Australia’s 5c, 10c, 20c, 50c, $1 and $2 coins.
The obverse of each coin features the Daniel Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III.
