2021 Animals of Africa – Lion 1oz .9999 Silver Lion Shaped Coin

The Animals of Africa – African Lion coin features one of the deadliest creatures in the Animal Kingdom! Made in 1oz of pure silver legal tender this coin shows a male lion pacing majestically. A beautiful collectible in a unique shape! Each coin is individually serialised and is the second coin the Animals of Africa series, following the sold out Nile Crocodile.

The African Lion (Panthera leo) lives in packs called “prides” of a few males and four times as many females. But only the male lion has the regal fringe of hair that is the recognizable mane he is known for.

There is a maximum mintage of 2,500 worldwide.

DESIGN

The coin has been created in the shape of the majestic African Lion (Panthera leo) facing right mid-pace. He is adorned by his regal mane that the lion is most known for with his mouth agape.

The Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2021 year-date, serial number, the coin’s weight and fineness and the monetary denomination are depicted on the coin’s obverse.

PRESENTATION

Each Lion shaped 1oz silver coin is presented in a custom shaped capsule inside of a Animals of Africa – African Lion themed box.
