Year of the Goat 10oz .999 Silver Bullion Coin – Lunar Series II

Celebrate the Year of the Goat with with this stunning 10oz silver coin from The Perth Mint, honouring the 8th animal in the 12-year Chinese zodiac.

The birth dates for people ruled by the Chinese Lunar goat include 1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, and 2015 with those born under the influence of this sign said to be shy, sympathetic, elegant, artistic and calm.

Meticulously struck from 99.9% pure silver, the coins are issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965.

DESIGN

The reverse depicts a family of goats grazing in their natural habitat. The Chinese character for ‘goat’ and the inscription ‘Year of the Goat’ also appear in the design with The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark.

The obverse of the coin depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the weight and fineness, and the monetary denomination.

Each bullion coin is presented in a protective acrylic capsule.
